The city of Nephi is located in eastern Juab County along the Wasatch Mountain range and Interstate I-15. With Mount Nebo directly to the east, Nephi is part of the Provo-Orem Metropolitan Area with a population of near 6,000. It was settled in 1851 and was known as “Salt Creek” until acquiring the name of Nephi in 1882. This community has so much to offer with a variety of amenities and hosted attractions. Home of the annual Ute Stampede Rodeo and Juab County Fair, Nephi City also provides great recreational activities including the Canyon Hills Golf Course, Nephi City Swimming Pool and Splash Pad, Little Sahara Sand Dunes, and the beautiful Nebo Loop National Scenic Byway.
